Support Our Troops
How can we support our troops?
There are numerous ways each of us can show our support for the men and women
serving our country overseas. While Stephanie does not endorse any specific
group or organization, she has come across several options you may wish to
consider:
Operation
USO Care Package
Due to heightened security, individuals can no longer send letters and packages
addressed to “Any Service Member.” Operation USO Care Package
provides a safe, easy way for you to show that your thoughts are with our
service members. The Care Packages contain an assortment of items specifically
requested by the military, such as prepaid international calling cards, disposable
cameras, toiletries, and sunscreen.
Operation
Dear Abby.net
Dear
Abby, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the U.S. Department of the Navy
in association with SPAWAR SCC (National Capital Region) is providing this
private and secure online resource for you to send our men and women overseas
a message of support.
